A Note About Our Documents

Beginning in 2026, the Town of Cedar Lake has been publishing meeting agendas and minutes in HTML (web page) format rather than as PDF files. The documents listed on this page reflect that current format.

The content of these documents is identical to the printed handouts distributed at meetings and to the PDFs previously posted on this site — only the format has changed.

This transition supports the Town’s compliance with Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), which requires that all state and local government digital content meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1 Level AA) by April 26, 2027. HTML documents are more accessible to individuals using screen readers, keyboard navigation, and other assistive technologies than traditional PDFs.
