June 2, 2026 regular meeting.

2. Claims

Fund #404 — $101.80; Fund #804 — $8,888.96.

Mr. Carnahan asked whether the Fund #804 claim of $8,888.96 related to the sidewalk project connecting the Chamber of Commerce to Town Hall. Mr. Thiel confirmed it was.

Motion to approve the consent agenda made by Mr. Recupito; seconded by Mr. Becker.

School Board Liaison Comment

Neither school board liaison was present. Mr. Carnahan reported informally that Douglas MacArthur Elementary School has a new principal, whom he has not yet had the opportunity to meet. He also noted that curb and sidewalk sections at the school that were in poor condition have been replaced and poured, and are currently curing.

Town Council / Other Comments

Mr. Thiel reported that a meeting has been scheduled for July 27, 2026 with VS Engineering to review the current status of the sidewalk project connecting the Chamber of Commerce to Town Hall.

Mr. Thiel called for public comment three times. No one was present online.
