Black and White

The Town of Cedar Lake Logo is composed of both literal and design elements. The literal element consists of the words “Cedar Lake” in a prominent, stylized script, and the phrase “Explore Everyday” in a smaller, sans-serif font below. The design element is a graphic placed above the lettering, which features a solid, circular shape with spiky protrusions on its right edge, resembling a cedar leaf. Enclosed within this shape is a white, sail-like figure with a curved base that follows the contour of the lettering below. The entire mark is presented in black and white.

Underneath “Cedar Lake” is the tagline “Explore Everyday” in a smaller, lowercase, sans-serif font. The tagline is enclosed by two horizontal lines (em dashes). The trademark symbol appears in superscript immediately following the word “everyday”.

Town Logo

The Town of Cedar Lake Logo consists of a design element positioned above the literal elements “Cedar Lake” and the tagline “Explore Everyday”.

The design element is a stylized abstract image suggestive of a sailboat on water next to a sun. The largest shape is a dark brown, sail-like form on the left. Layered in front of it are two smaller, stylized sails, one in red and one in orange. A light blue, wavy line, representing water, crosses the lower portion of the sails. In the upper right of the design is a partial sun in shades of yellow and gold, with distinct rays extending outward.

Below the design are the words “Cedar Lake” in a large, flowing, cursive script. The color of the lettering is the same dark brown as the largest sail shape.

Underneath “Cedar Lake” is the tagline “Explore Everyday” in a smaller, lowercase, sans-serif font, also in the dark brown color. The tagline is enclosed by two horizontal lines (em dashes). The trademark symbol appears in superscript immediately following the word “everyday”.
