Trademark Notice

Unauthorized use of the Town of Cedar Lake logo — or any reproduction, counterfeit, copy, or colorable imitation thereof — in connection with the sale, offering for sale, distribution, or advertising of goods or services is prohibited.

Any use that is likely to cause confusion, mistake, or deception as to the source or origin of goods or services may subject the user to civil liability. This includes applying a reproduction or imitation of the mark to labels, signs, prints, packages, wrappers, containers, or advertisements intended for the sale or distribution of goods or services in Indiana.

The Town reserves all rights to pursue civil action against any party that violates these terms.

Official Logo

The Town of Cedar Lake logo is composed of both literal and design elements, as described below. Both the color and black-and-white versions are official marks of the Town.

Color Logo Description

The Town of Cedar Lake logo features a design element above two lines of lettering. The design element is a stylized, abstract image suggestive of sailboats on water beside a sun.

The largest shape is a dark brown, sail-like form, prominently positioned in the center-left of the design. Layered in front of it are two smaller, stylized sail shapes — one in red and one in orange — that create a sense of depth. A light blue, wavy line representing water crosses the lower portion of the sail grouping.

In the upper right of the design is a large partial sun rendered in shades of yellow and gold, with distinct spiky rays extending outward. The sun occupies the full upper-right quadrant of the design element and is visually prominent.

Below the design, the words “Cedar Lake” appear in a large, flowing, cursive script. The lettering is the same dark brown as the largest sail shape. Directly beneath, the tagline “— explore everyday™ —” is set in a smaller, lowercase, sans-serif font in the same dark brown, enclosed on each side by an em dash. The trademark symbol (™) appears in superscript immediately following the word “everyday.”

Black & White Logo Description

The black-and-white version of the Town of Cedar Lake logo retains the same design elements as the color version, rendered entirely in black and white with no gray tones.

The design element above the lettering features a large, stylized sail shape in solid black, prominently positioned in the center-left. Layered in front of it are two smaller stylized sail shapes, also rendered in solid black. A wavy line representing water crosses the lower portion of the sail grouping in solid black.

In the upper right, a large partial sun with distinct spiky rays extending outward is rendered in solid black, occupying the full upper-right quadrant of the design element.

Below the design, the words “Cedar Lake” appear in large, flowing, cursive black script.
