Cedar Lake’s Water Department has begun its hydrant flushing program. Work started today near the Parrish water tower and is moving north, with the Monastery South and Monastery North areas expected to take the remainder of this week.

Residents in these areas may experience temporary water pressure fluctuations and discoloration. This is normal and expected during flushing operations.

If you notice discolored water: Run your cold water tap for a few minutes until it clears. We recommend holding off on laundry until the water runs clear.
