Compensation: This position has a maximum hourly rate of $23.28. The rate for this position will be commensurate with education and experience. Benefits include health insurance with medical, dental, and vision coverage. Paid time off and vacation.
Job Summary:
Town of Cedar Lake Parks Department Crew Worker is responsible for the general maintenance and upkeep of all parks open spaces, facilities, and equipment. Including cleaning and maintaining facilities, shelters, and restrooms as well as replenishing appropriate supplies. Performs specialized projects as assigned.
Desired Minimum Requirements:
1. High school diploma or GED
2. Education and/or experience in recreation-related activities
3. At least one (1) year experience in landscaping-related activities
4. Must be 18 years of age or older
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Experience using a zero-turn lawnmower
2. General knowledge of power tools, trimmers, and light duty trucks
